In October my brother-in-law took my oldest son (who was almost 3 years old at the time) on a tour of the fire station that he volunteered at. My son was in awe of all of the immense equipment and bright, shiny fire engines. . .

Baby Nicolas came into this world to meet an amazing Mommy, two older brothers waiting impatiently for their new playmate, and a pair of his Daddy's tall firefighter boots to fill ;-)

September was a very busy month for me! I drove down to Queens (New York City) to do a newborn session for one of my oldest friends. It was amazing to see Jenn & John with their perfect little newborn - all decked out in Yankee gear of course!

Baby Scott came into this world back in June, in his family's home, at the hands of his Mommy, Grandma, and Aunt. Although I wasn't there for his home birth, I was able to see him a day later. What a peaceful newborn he was! He was very content to pose in a plush pile of newborn fluff that his Momma made for him.
