Kathy, Scott & Boys

I had a fabulous time with Kathy, Scott & their boys. All 3 boys were such hams - most of all baby Nicolas ;-) We were a little disappointed not be able to do a shoot outside (it was sleeting & horribly windy) but had fun inside their new house!  Lucky for me the new house had sunlight streaming through all the windows where went went to shoot. If only my own house had such great lighting!
I had great difficulty choosing which pics to post because I love over 2 dozen of them!

Getting Ready for Valentine's Day

In an effort to get a photo Valentine out in the mail to family members I did a photo shoot with my 2 boys while my husband was at work. Let's say it was interesting ;-) The oldest was quite the ham for the camera but he did not do so well at sitting still. The youngest did not want to look at the camera at all! Oh to be 1 and 3 years old again!

Baby Scott at 6 months

December - Baby Scott turned 6 months old! The infant that I first met at 1 day old was now sitting up by himself and quite the character!

The Gramling Family

I was delighted to do a family foto shoot for a Mommy friend of mine that I had not seen in quite a while. It was absolutely freezing outside on Black Friday but fortunately we were able to find refuge at an Arboretum in the city. At first I'm not sure her boys knew what to make of the venue but by the end of the session they managed to have some fun.

Fall Fun!

Normally when it's Autumn and our lawn has been smothered with beautifully colored leaves my husband rakes them up and either promptly mulches them or stuffs trash bags with them. This year I begged him to wait until after I could capture our boys jumping in piles of them and rolling around in them. Thankfully he listened :-)

Danny's First Birthday Cake Smash

Right before my youngest son's First Birthday I decided that I wanted to capture him doing a cake smash. I had not done this with my oldest son but I thought it be a fun thing to do with Danny - especially since this boy LIVED for food! My friend Gretch made my son a matching Happy Birthday t shirt and cloth diaper cover and agreed to try and help wrangle him as well as his older brother during the photo shoot. The images I caught are priceless and I will forever cherish them and laugh at them until my cheeks hurt ;-)
